The New Entrepreneurs Group

The New Entrepreneurs Group is part of the LIASB and focuses on helping:

  • Individuals who recently started a business or plan on starting businesses.
  • Unemployed individuals explore creative solutions in job searching or changing careers.
  • Students who will soon be graduating and joining the job force or considering self-employment.

The New Entrepreneurs Group meets separately from LIASB and conducts individual discussions, seminars and workshops of interest to the group’s members. We believe that the entrepreneurial mindset is just as applicable to people seeking employment as it is to those running a business.

The LIASB is an excellent source for women in the entrepreneurial world to find the help and sources they need to take their businesses to the next level. This group brings many women together to share their experiences with one another. It’s a great place to learn! Corrinne, thank you for making this group possible and sharing your knowledge & experience.

As a professional speaker, I get invited to address and observe many organizations here at home and internationally. Having spoken at LIASB several times over the years, I’m able to say it’s among the finest groups of professionals on Long Island. LIASB provides its members with quality educational opportunities, great people and a leadership dedicated to helping members grow their businesses…it’s a terrific organization where small businesses can learn and network.

LIASB is a wonderful resource for small business owners. As a member for over two years, I’ve made many important business connections. I enjoy and benefit from the exchange of ideas with others who face the same challenges in their own businesses and the roundtable format effectively encourages this. The board is dedicated to providing a quality experience for its members and to building the presence of the small business community on Long Island and within New York State. They do a great job bringing in speakers who are always interesting and relevant. It’s nice to be a part of this group and to know we are not alone out there!
