TRAINING & EDUCATION
The LIASB is focused on providing high level business training to its members and the community. Training seminars are offered on a monthly basis and take the form of either seminars or workshops. Our presenters are experienced and well respected in their respective industries. Our latest alliance with ODNLI greatly expands the breadth of training into the highly critical area of organizational development. High level and hands-on business training coupled with continuous improvements of the “human factor” lead to consistent growth.
RESOURCES
Long Island small business owners, as all of us, face a constant deluge of information on “How To” and “Tips”. It is challenging to ascertain which tip to read or follow not to mention finding the time to do so. The LIASB through its Board of Director and network of professionals is a source and starting-point for any business owner that seeks advice on a variety of topics. There is no shortage of information sources in libraries or on the web. But, a good, solid and experienced advice is hard to find. The LIASB provides resources to its members to enable and facilitate quick learning and resolution of challenges.
