The New Entrepreneurs Group
The New Entrepreneurs Group is part of the LIASB and focuses on helping:
- Individuals who recently started a business or plan on starting businesses.
- Unemployed individuals explore creative solutions in job searching or changing careers.
- Students who will soon be graduating and joining the job force or considering self-employment.
The New Entrepreneurs Group meets separately from LIASB and conducts individual discussions, seminars and workshops of interest to the group’s members. We believe that the entrepreneurial mindset is just as applicable to people seeking employment as it is to those running a business.
A separate program is being run for students in conjunction with their schools.

How do I qualify to participate in this program?
You must have started a business within the last 5 years, or you plan to start a business within the next 3 years, or you are unemployed and looking for employment.
Must I become a member of LIASB?
No. But keep in mind that you will not be entitled to any of the benefits normally available to LIASB members.
Is there a fee to participate in this program?
No. This service is provided free of charge as long as you are qualified.
Will I also be able to attend LIASB’s events?
If you attend a New Entrepreneurs Group meeting, you will be permitted to attend the next LIASB monthly event free of charge. Otherwise, you will have to pay the registration/admittance fee as posted in the event’s flyer and on the LIASB web page.
