ODNLI Strategic Alliance
Long Island Advancement of Small Business (LIASB) and Organizational Development Network Long Island (ODNLI) announce the formation of a strategic alliance.
East Northport NY, May 1, 2013: Two of Long Island’s Not-for-Profit small business associations announce a joint partnership.
“This is a collaboration that is long overdue” said Mr. John Hill, President of LIASB. “Our groups have similar missions – passionate dedication to small business on Long Island. The LIASB is focused on training and resources that deal with direct aspects of doing business: Marketing, Sales, Business Strategies and Finance. The ODNLI focuses on human and organizational development and both of us drive business towards continuous improvement and growth”.
“Long Island is still feeling the effects of a devastating recession and the aftermath of Sandy. Small business in particular has taken a major hit. We believe that Long Island will rebound but in order to compete, small businesses will have to maximize productivity and focus more than ever on their people state Mr. David Schwartz, and Mr. Siegel Co-Presidents of the ODNLI. “Our organization complements LIASB by focusing on the “human element” and the value training and education provide on communications, motivation and hiring skills”.
The LIASB & ODNLI will combine marketing and advocacy efforts and allow members of each group free access to events and resources. Both associations are 501C3 (Not-for-Profit) and will reach over 5,000 small business owners on Long Island with marketing communications and learning.
